Gabriel holds a degree in Urbanism by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has a postgraduate degree in cities’ financing through urban land, by the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. With almost 10 years of experience, he specializes in active mobility, urban design and territorial planning. Previously, he has collaborated as an advisor in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), for the architecture office a|911, and as Manager of Urban Projects at Grupo Proyecta.
He has participated in sustainable urban mobility plans and coordinates the pre-feasibility studies of BRT in Mexico City. In the implementation of the public bicycle system in Sinaloa, he coordinated the cycling infrastructure network and supported the planning of the expansion of the bike share program Ecobici in Mexico City. Concerned about the environment and the quality of life in cities, Gabriel relies on the modal shift of users towards sustainable means.
