Road Safety

Parasitologist Bacteriologist Chemist with a Master of Science from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, he is in the process of obtaining a PhD from the National Polytechnic Institute. He has published in more than 20 indexed journals in academic publications, including studies on road accidents, urban planning and public health. He has been recognized by the Secretariat of Social Development, the Mexican Institute of Youth, the International Youth Foundation, the Latin American Federation of Chemical Associations and by Rotary International for his contributions in social projects and dissemination of science and technology .

Sergio has more than 15 years of experience in volunteer activities and activism, being a member of Chihuahua en Bicicleta, Ambassador of the Earth Hour (2008-2018), Coordinator of Public Health on Liga Peatonal AC (2016-2021) and leader of the Mission Zero Strategy Project (2019-2021). Pedestrian and urban cyclist, his favorite color is a mix between green and blue, he is passionate about Italian food, Taurus, he knows how to prepare coffee and he does not bathe on Sundays.
